WANT.
Jane Austen and knitting—seriously, I don’t think there’s a better combination. Some of the patterns in here are a bit too old-fashioned (I won’t be knitting a bright red cape anytime soon), but there are some legitimately nice patterns in here.
Have I mentioned that I’ve read Pride and Prejudice (among other Jane Austen novels) twice and seen the movie so many times that I’ve lost count? I love Jane Austen.

Great scarf!

Happy birthday-ish, Jane Austen! Or in a few hours for me, anyways. To celebrate, I just put my Mr. Darcy cross stitch pattern up for sale on Etsy. I’ll make a few for sale in the shop once Christmas is over. Click here obv. I made a teeny tiny Pemberley along with the dashing little mister.

I bought this as a Christmas present for a Janeite friend who’s expecting a little girl in January. It’s never too early for Austen!

(Sorry for the bad quality pictures I had to wrap it and all I had was a camera phone)

WHOA!!!

This is what I need for my future kids

P&P in real life

1st November 11

Yet again another Austen moment passed through my mind.

Every now and then a girl likes to be crossed in love.

Real life p&p moment

23rd October 11

When ever there is a lot of fog, the kind that rolls over knolls and fields, I think my mr. Darcy will magically appear!

Lame I know….

"but there are very few of us who have heart enough to be really in love without encouragement."

30 Days of Jane Austen! Day 21:

4th August 11

marzipan-love:

Favorite Jane Austen-related photo.

Because Sense & Sensibility is my favorite, in case you haven’t figured that out.

And this one, because Persuasion is my other favorite. And Rupert Penry-Jones is gorgeous.

Also this one. Because honestly, who wouldn’t drool over a half-dressed Mr. Darcy walking through a misty field at the break of dawn?

like reading! How much sooner one tires
of any thing than of a book! — When I
have a house of my own, I shall be
miserable if I have not an excellent library."
