hispeculiartreasure: fyprideandprejudice: 52books: Summer resolution: Finally read Pride and Prejudice instead of watching the movie over and over and over again.  A great goal. :)  How did you know that was my summer goal as well?! :) Isn’t it everyone’s summer goal?!? The first time I read Pride and Prejudice was after I saw 2005 movie version, 10 times. I got through the book in about a week. Who could ever tire of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy? Lucky for me I was working at a library at the time and one of my co-workers lent me the 1990s BBC Pride and Prejudice mini-series, you know the one with Colin Firth.  Since 2005 I’ve read P&P every couple of years, and started this tumblr in 2009. You could say I am hooked.
